Im sure many others on these boards will attest to this.Who else would start a thread "Freedom of Speech Vs Freedom of Slander" to put down CSJ (though Im not particularly fond of the man myself).
Are you finding it difficult to back up the below statement with FACTS?"Time and time again I see you vehemently defending ALL of our government policies"

Time and time again I see you vehemently defending ALL of our government policies. Not to descredit our government for the good years we've had, but surely not every damn goverment policies are 100% beneficial for our country. I would even say that any discerning citizen would be pretty pissed with the rising inflation, GST increase, ERP and Mas Selamat incident. Are you telling me that all these are for the good of the people? Are you telling me the average Singaporean whose pay doesn't increase but see his liabilities increase together with other screw ups in our administration have no right to be pissed? BUT here you are slamming your average "dulan Singaporean" and opposition supporters.
To clarify Im not an opposition supporter nor am I a PAP supporter. I personally feel that there is still not enough quality opposition that can really give PAP a run for their money or convince me that they can do a better job. Until that happens, my vote will still go to the PAP.
Could you name me any 5 government policies which you claimed that I have defended?

And if he really meant the people who are down and out... he can always use the words " Citizens who are down and out". no need to use the word " Losers".
I believe majority of the Singaporeans are smart enough to make their own judgement about what was said in the interview, and there is really no need for you to try so hard to convince them that you are the smarter than them.

I have also witnessed a foreign student who is also very worried about the high medical bill and requested for a discharge.
We are C Class patients
2 questions for you.
1) Did the hospital treat his son or was he left to die?
2) How sure are you that Singapore government didnt provide financial aid to the family?

Unless SDP or what have you not are so free to spend their time trying to astroturf so many local forums, we can only conclude that this is more a reflection of the sentiment on the ground then conspiracies.
This also means that whatever "counter-insurgencies" some organization is waging...
It's not working.
I am not sure if you are aware that one of the main reason why the ruling party of Malaysia lost so many seats during the last election is because of internet forums and blogs. For someone like Dr. Chee, I think internet forums will be the PERFECT place for him to spread his "teaching" because he knows that he wont get sue for spreading lies about the government. If you are SDP, wont you consider that as a better alternative than staging useless demostration?

To tell you what I like about Singapore is going to take too long, I believe it will be easier for me to tell you what I dislike about singaporeDislikes:
1) Car price
2) Price of alcohol
3) Road manners and congestion
4) Weather
5) Lack of space

My facts are what I see with my own eyes.. and what I hear from the people around me.
Are you saying my eyes lies and my friends are not telling the truth ?
No one in this forum is stopping you from challenging my "facts" with facts, but please dont try by using hearsay stories about my friends my uncle my PRC colleagues etc.

I have noticed that whenever someone support our government policy, he/she will be labeled as blinded by their propaganda, brain washed government controlled media, PAP dogs etc.
Honestly I would really like to know if the opposition supporters in this forum are really smarter and more knowledgeable than the rest.
What do you think?

You got to understand that during a debate session, you dont score any points by talking to your teammate. That to me is a sign of retreat, and I really hope that you mean what you said and please dont reply my post with nonsense and liesNo offenese dude, when you are being caught as a liar, your credibility is gone. Same for the real world too.

I am very happy for you.
If the gahmen is doing things right.. people WON'T need to go for meet the people session.
Yah.. perhaps to go there to pay their respects.. that's all.
I am not complaining, so i dont see why someone who claim to be happily living in the land of opportunites should be coming here to tell Singaporeans what to do.You want to focus your arguement about the dirt in Singapore, make sure you are ready to defend the trash in america.

You think she's a freeloader ?
Beggars are people who go around asking for help , so they will not starve.
Isn't this essentially what the gahmen is expecting people who need help to do ?
They coulda give them more pride. Exercise some well thoughtout policy to protect the people so they need not have to resort to asking for help from the gahmen. Isn't that what good gahmen do ?
Dispensing mercy is not a good gahmen policy .
You call people going to meet the people session as beggars, I am sure I can call the people living on dole as freeloaders right?Yes, when I see the long queue of able americans signing up for dole on TV, I will call that PRIDE of the country.
I am not sure what cocaine have you been smoking , but what you are saying is definitely not making any sense to me.
